Sick Child Care Program (S.C.C.P.)

Center Based Care

Center-Based Care is for children two (2) years old and potty trained on up to age 5 years.  This service is available to any family who desires.  

Each morning the children are screened by our registered nurse, who will not admit any child in the contagious stage of a disease, or one who has a fever of 101N C or higher. Wheezles and Sneezles is for the types of illnesses that keeps a child out of school or child care, but is not serious enough to keep a parent home from work: (such as; a runny nose, tummy aches, headaches, colds, flu, ear pain, low grade fever, asthma, etc.).

FEES:     $0 - $7.00 per hour   

HOURS:  M - F,   8:00 am - 5:00 pm

In-Home Care

In-Home Care is for infants who are sick or contagious and children who are contagious or bedridden. This service is available to any family in El Sobrante, Richmond Annex, El Cerrito, Albany,  Berkeley, North Oakland, and Piedmont.

A specially trained teacher will come into your home and care for your child, while your away.  Their sole duty is to attend to your child’s needs.

The Sick Child Care Teacher will give your child his/her medicine and will be a special playmate, helping to nurse your child back to health.

FEES:    $0 - $10.00 per hour

HOURS: M - F, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Home Network Care

Is designed to help with the cost of daycare for children who have  ongoing illness .  Children are cared for daily in one of our licensed daycare providers facility just like regular quality daycares.   No singling out!
